Construction

The kennel is made up of  prefabricated steel panels which are to be attached directly to the round tube design frame. The panels are made of 2″ x 4″ welded wire modular and come at the height of 6′ and a width of 5′.  The modular design provides extra versatility for customization. All the structural parts of the kennel are made of 100% commercial grade steel to last long. Also, the robust construction aims to keep the kennel stable to withstand extreme winds or storms.

Plus it’s black powder coated for superior looks and the 1-inch legs on each panel allow the kennel to be easily cleaned.

The kennel comes with a structured 10 x 10 roof with an additional waterproof cover to protect your dog from harsh weather effects. The overall weight of an assembled kennel is 207 lb. The good thing is that you can customize your pen for extra space by getting additional panels and roofing. This kennel suits most of the breeds and the space is enough for large dogs.

Assembly

With the prefabricated steel panels, it is quite easy to put them together. At first, you should stand the boards upright and bolt them together for extra stability. Each panel comes with two clamps with nuts and bolts to attach the panels. The package comes with instructions for the top part of the kennel which is the roof structure.

When putting the parts together, you need to have a socket wrench, screwdriver and a 6′ high ladder to reach the top part. When attaching the roof to the rest of the structure, you may need a sharp tool to pull the plastic plugs from the frame. You could use a flathead screwdriver, a combo knife or a hammer claw to get the job done.  There are no bands, ties, or bolts required for the mesh.

Assembly takes approximately an hour or less depending on if you have extra assistance while putting together the parts.  Attaching the roof will require two or more people and needs you to use a step ladder to complete the assembly in less time.

Durability
